A Three-year-old plus maiden stakes over 1m 67y on soft going. Andrew Balding has a horse of interest here. Shongololo is a son of Manduro who cost 30,000E at the yearling sales. This gelding was quite fancied on debut at Chepstow but beaten a long long way. The betting is important here and if this horse is price 9/1 SP I would expect marked improvement with fair each-wat claims. It may be wise to watch the betting as if particularly weak I would take a watching brief.
